Joomla Resource Recent Downtime |

Finally, Joomla Resource is back online. My previous host (hostgator.com) decided to suspend my hosting account due to high server loads. This was a bit frustrating as I received no advanced warning from them that they would do this and the primary reason why I went with them is that they assured me that they would be able to accommodate me with high bandwidth and server resources on the initial sales call, obviously they were kidding themselves.

I have now gone over to a more reliable VPS hosting option which in return has increased me cost considerably. I am asking the community that if you value Joomla Resource and would like to see it live for years to come that you kindly make a small donation to help us continue development.
If you have experienced a similar problem with your hosting provider please feel free to comet on this article, as I’m sure I’m not the only one that has bad experiences with so called leaders in the hosting industry.

It would be nice if you can (I think that time is not just what you wanna waste) tell us in a future your experience with this new host.

I just happened to stumble upon your comment about your webhost. This is honestly not a shameless plug but I have been with the same hosting company for over a year and find it is the best out there for such a low price. Check out TotalChoiceHosting once. My site was recently moved to a brand new, state of the art server with no additional monthly fees. The customer support is superior and expeditious and I honestly dont think you can find a better deal out there.

I too used to be hosted with hostgator and had numerous problems with them. I have done my research and since moved to another host Valuetech (www.valuetech.com) and have never looked back. Always good support, 0 downtime, and better prices. I love this site and hate to see it down! |
